In guarding your home and belongings from water damage, a battery backup sump from ECP is the best answer. Unfortunately, there are many things that can go wrong to cause basement flooding. It can be a power disruption, a failed sump pump switch, sticky float or even just a higher than normal flow of water. By using an ECP DC Backup Sump Pump your basement will remain dry during any of these situations.
The ECP BUSP 40 is a heavy duty backup sump pump designed to provide protection along with your primary AC sump pump. The ECP BUSP 40 can be added to most any primary AC sump pump to provide protection when there is a sump failure.
The BUSP 40’s controller will monitor:
Pumping Conditions
Battery Power of Two Batteries
Battery Fluid Levels
Power Interruption
Pump Activation
Fuse
The ECP BUSP 40 comes standard with a deluxe controller unit that monitors power loss, switch operations, battery level and pump operation. An audible alarms sounds when any problem is detected to prevent flooding. Convenient LED lights give quick indication of system status. The control unit also charges the battery once AC power is restored so that the system is at maximum readiness for the next power disruption.
The BUSP 40 battery backup sump pump has not one, but dual float switches. Should one float mechanism fail to operate, the second float is available and ready to activate the pump. The dual float switch is a backup switching mechanism that provides assurance of performance when the rains come.
ECP Battery Backup Sump Pumps
Our lineup of battery backup sump pumps provide unparallel performance and monitoring system that warns of any potential system problems before basement flooding can occur.
Do I Need a New Sump Basin?
No longer are sump basins just a whole in the floor or a trash can buried in the basement. The ECP Sump Basin and its unique bell shape provides more water at the sump inlet which increases the life and efficiency of all pumps. The bell design also allows extra room for adding a backup sump pump without restricting float movement or starving sump pumps for water.
