The ECP Basement Sump Pump Combination Systems, couples an energy efficient primary sump pump and a battery backup sump pump into one compact unit. The primary unit runs off normal AC power. If power is lost, for any reason or there is more water coming in than the primary pump can handle, the battery backup sump pump will begin pumping automatically.
The ECP BSPC 100 comes pre-assembled for ease of installation and includes two dual float switches (4 total switches) for the ultimate in basement water protection. Two of the float switches operate with the primary sump and two more operate with the battery backup unit.
In guarding your basement from water damage, a combination sump from ECP is the ultimate answer. Unfortunately, there are many things that can go wrong to cause basement flooding. It can be a power disruption, a failed sump pump switch, sticky float or even just a higher than normal flow of water. The ECP BSPC 100 also contains a unique monitoring device that warns you if the power goes out, battery fluid is low, the backup pump is activated or if the battery is discharged or defective.
The BSPC 100 comes with everything that you need to install. Even the check valves and weep holes are pre-installed to make this unit a true plug and play unit.
